Your scalp health should not be overlooked in your hair care regimen. The scalp is the foundation for having healthy hair as it produces your hair growth and sebum needed to coat the new hair growth. Once your scalp is nourished and healthy it will ensure your hair is stronger, thicker, shinier and much more longer.

While cleansing, oiling, and massaging are crucial, it's equally important to let your scalp breathe. We all love wearing protective hairstyles such as braids but we should ensure that they are not done too tightly as this will cause tension on our scalp. As well as, avoid wearing it for an extended time such as over 8 weeks as our scalp needs to be cleansed and refreshed. Do ensure to give your scalp occasional breaks from the heavy styling. This approach allows your scalp to regulate its natural oil production and maintain a balanced environment. Remember, a healthy scalp is free from excessive pressure and product buildup, providing a strong foundation for beautiful, healthy hair.
