Returns & Right of Withdrawal Policy

Your legal right under EU law
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, you have the right to withdraw from any online purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.
1. Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of the date on which you (or a third party you nominate, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods.
You do not need to give any reason for your decision to withdraw. However, you will lose your right of withdrawal if you have unsealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons (see Section 5 for exceptions).
2. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us before the 14-day period expires.
You can do this by:
• Completing the Model Withdrawal Form (see Section 6 below)
• Sending an email to: support@baskandlatherco.com with the subject line
"EU Return Request – Order #[ORDER NUMBER]"
The withdrawal period is met if you send your communication before the 14-day period expires.
3. Return of Goods
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods to us without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the date you informed us of your decision to withdraw.
You must bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We recommend using a tracked postal service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
Goods must be returned in their original condition. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
4. Refunds
Upon receiving your withdrawal notification, we will reimburse all payments we have
received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (but not the cost of express or
premium delivery if you chose it).
We will issue the refund using the same payment method you used for the original
transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a
result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have
provided evidence of having returned the goods — whichever is earlier.

5. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following types of goods (Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU):
• Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised
• Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene
reasons, and which have been unsealed after delivery
• Goods which become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery
• Sealed audio/video recordings or computer software which have been unsealed after
delivery
• Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, where you have given your prior
express consent to begin performance before the withdrawal period expires
• Goods that deteriorate rapidly or have a short shelf life
• Newspapers, periodicals, or magazines (except subscription contracts)
